Revise throwing and catching using underarm, overarm and chest passes |
DescriptionStudents will do a warm up of NSEW and use a variety of locomotion to travel to the designated areas.
Students will then work in prs using the correct techniques for underarm (point and step with opposite hand and foot), Overarm taking arm and elbow back (point with opposite arm and step with opposite foot) (ITY) Release point of throw, position of eyes and hands for catching. |

Activity:
Review any video from week 1 and 2
Students will work in pairs. 1 (a) on sideline of B/B court and the other (b) about 3 ms away.

Challenge:
** Use the correct technique for throwing.
Underarm throwing is different to overarm throwing which is different to chest pass. In pairs (a and b) will line up 3 - 5 ms from the wall (dependent on skill) beside a cone.
